Residency - Maïté Pouleur

L’Association Acte de Naissance invites Maïté Pouleur for a residency, from April to June 2012. After the residency, the artist will open his studio to present the work he has created.

Pouleur works in photography, in the street and in situ, photographing what he sees around him.

“ To try to give answers in photography is in my opinion a mistake, it can cause an infinite number of questions that leave us in the unsaid. The photographs I produce escape me just like my surroundings. ”

Maïté Pouleur open his studio to the public Friday, June 22 and Saturday, June 23 from 14:30 to 18:30.

This residence is the subject of a cultural partnership with the college to Beuvrages Paul Eluard, the College of Ostrevant to Bouchain Villars college, vocational school and the Alfred Kastler in Denain, college Felicien Escaudain Joly, the College Saint John Baptist de la Salle High School Notre Dame High School of the Scheldt and vocational and technical high schools of Hainaut, the Relay Workshops Bethsaida in Valenciennes, the vocational school Mansart at Marly, the College Romain Rolland and Waziers Cultural Association of Spring.
