Kunst&Zwalm 2011

  Current Exhibition

In the 2011 edition, new interventions were asked in which artists are invited to question the usual norms and rules and maintain a daring critical distance. The interventions of the artists provided a visual and physical experience that played with the relationship between time, place, space, art and audience.

Kaaihoeve (a Provincial Nature Education Centre) serves as a departure point for a high quality route that runs through the landscape for 9 km. This unique route provides the visitor with three landscape types where the relationship between culture and nature is constantly changing: the protective natural landscape, the historic cultivated landscape and the reclaimed industrial landscape.

The last exhibition ran from Saturday, August 27 until Sunday, September 11, 2011. The next event is due to happen in 2013, more information will be supplied as soon as available.
