Afterimage – Karin Kihlberg and Reuben Henry

aspex welcomed back the winners of their 2009 open submission competition EMERGENCY4, for a solo exhibition.

Kihlberg & Henry’s newly commissioned work explores a fictional present where past and future collide. Filmed in and around Portsmouth, this new piece is part of the artist’ ongoing investigation into how documentation, history and fiction can form evidence of a desire to exist outside of the present.

Kihlberg and Henry live and work in London and have been collaborating since 2004.
